Founder’s Visit to Uganda and the Opening of Our Learning Hub – October 2024
This October marked a significant milestone for us, as our founder, Pete, visited Uganda to oversee the launch of our learning hub. The atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation as we successfully registered ten children, each embarking on a journey that will shape their futures. Our team of four incredible teachers – Alex, Annie, and Juliet – welcomed the children with open arms. Under their guidance, the children will immerse themselves in a fun, creative learning environment where play is at the heart of their development. The play-based learning approach encourages social interaction, creativity, and, most importantly, joy.
The excitement in the room was palpable as each child proudly introduced themselves on camera, creating a memory we will cherish for years to come. Watching their smiles as they realized they were stepping into something truly life-changing was a moment we will always treasure.
These bright young minds, full of curiosity, began their learning journey by writing the alphabet and their names—simple steps that represent significant progress. We introduced colorful charts and drawing exercises, turning each lesson into a fun and engaging adventure. Our teachers are also committed to assessing each child’s literacy level to ensure that those who need extra help with reading or writing receive the support they need.
We are dedicated to supporting each child individually. The small class size allows us to provide personalized attention, creating a nurturing and encouraging environment where every child can thrive.
Alex, Annie,, and Juliet took the time to introduce the children to different sections of the learning hub, including our cozy yet resourceful library. Each child was given learning materials, and the intimate space fosters strong connections between teachers and students, ensuring a warm and engaging atmosphere for growth.
This learning hub represents far more than just education. It’s a safe space where these children can grow, explore, and dream. We are eager to see how they flourish in the months ahead.
